decisive moment:is a compositional technique by which the photograph is taken in mid movement to caputure the energy and flow of the image.

watch your head.(upper left) this image is a example of a decisive moment because it depicts good expressive movement and flow starting from the feet and movig up through the body.

the walker(upper right)this image shows an expressive forward movement and creates a sense of pace ,poture.

shootin'n gallery

this is a composite image of dick cheney and a shooting range (which he's probably never used)here's how i did it and you can to!

step 1:take image to photoshop,select background with rectagular marque tool/select/ similar

step 2: inverse selection so only cheney is selected. create duplicate background layer by dragging layer mask to new layer icon


step3:create a new layer using the new layer icon placethe background copy on top of the new layer


step4: select dick cheney by outlinig him in with the magnetic lasso. inverse .delete


step5:steps 1-4 willhave left you with a cut out of dick cheney against a empty back round (if you need to use th eraser tool to remove the halo from his outline)

you cannow copy and paste him on toany backgroundor you can move the backround in behind him
